Core Knowledge and Core Competencies

The Early Childhood Investment Corporation under the auspices of the Early Learning Advisory Council is seeking proposals to revise and update the Michigan Early Childhood Professional Core Knowledge and Core Competencies. Great Start to Quality RFP
Great Start to Quality Resource Centers provide intensive consultation to early learning and development programs and providers serving infants and toddlers through a cadre of quality improvement consultants. The quality improvement consultants offer consultation to identify areas for improvement, develop quality improvement plans, and conduct quality assessments.

Applicants are encouraged to review the resource documents posted; the documents will deepen the applicant’s understanding of Great Start to Quality and the role of the Great Start to Quality Resource Centers.

Nutrition and Physical Activity Self Assessment for Child Care Request for Application
The Great Start to Quality Resource Center Request for Proposals resource documents are now available for applicants who have already completed their Intent to Apply. Applicants are encouraged to review the resource documents posted; the documents will deepen the applicant’s understanding of Great Start to Quality and the role of the Great Start to Quality Resource Centers.
